The staff of the Upper River Valley Hospital are pleased to welcome world-renowned Canadian paediatrician Dr Jack Newman.

Dr. Newman will be giving a workshop to physicians and health care professionals involved in the care of women and children on Friday November 21.  The workshop, “Controversies in Breastfeeding”, will take place in the administration area of the Upper River Valley Hospital from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Dr. Newman will speak about the importance of breastfeeding for children and society.  He will give advice on effective promotion of breastfeeding in our practices.
