Horizon Health Network – Fredericton Zone has permanent opportunities for Registered Nurses at the Queens North Community Health Centre in Minto.
As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse provides quality patient care within the scope of professional nursing practice to palliative patients and families at the Queens North Complex on the inpatient unit. The RN provides primary health care services, illness/injury prevention, chronic disease management and community development services using a population health approach in an interdisciplinary team of health providers. The work is primarily in the Palliative Care unit and Community Health Centre, but includes assisting work in the Nursing Home.
Qualifications:
•Active registration with NANB
•Current BCLS certification
•Demonstrated assessment skills and ability to function independently with minimum supervision
•Demonstrated teaching, communication, interpersonal and team building skills
•Written and spoken competence in English is required
Classification: RN-2 – Salary range: $28.99 to $34.60 per hour
