A general surgery position is currently available in New Brunswick’s Horizon Health Network Upper River Valley Zone in Waterville. The Waterville facility, one hour from the regional hospital, is a brand new state-of-the art hospital with well-established endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery.
The general surgeon will join two experienced general surgeons in an established, busy rural practice. C-section skills are required but the URV Zone may assist in training prior to commencement of employment. Some gynecological training an advantage. The candidate should hold a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent degree and be eligible for licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
Guaranteed contractual income. Fluency in both official languages an asset.
