Horizon Health Network – zone Fredericton requires a gastroenterologist for a three-member service at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. The Chalmers Hospital is a regional referral hospital with all major medical and surgical services on site with the exception of cardiac and neurosurgery and cardiac catheterization. It offers a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and ERCP in a well-equipped endoscopy unit. It is also a training site for the Dalhousie University Family Medicine Program.
Royal College of Canada certification in internal medicine and gastroenterology is required. Participation in general internal medicine call is required and presently is 1 in 11.
