A general surgery position is currently available in New Brunswick’s Horizon Health Network - Upper River Valley Zone in
Perth-Andover.
The general surgeon will join an experienced general surgeon in an established two-surgeon, busy rural practice. The Perth facility, two hours from the regional hospital, has a new, modern operating suite with well-established endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery.
C-section skills are required but the URV Zone may assist in training prior to commencement of employment. Some gynecological training an advantage. The candidate should hold a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent degree and be eligible for licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
Competitive salaried remuneration package with benefits or a contract for service arrangement is available. Fluency in both official languages an asset. Good schools and excellent year-round recreational facilities.
